Alright, so I have had an issue with Apple for several months now, and you would blush to find out just how much it’s been raining on my fucking parade. The situation itself is relatively simple:
Premise- I will watch Django: Unchained on my iPad.
Procedure- Purchase Django: Unchained via iTunes store. Download Django: Unchained. Enjoy Django: Unchained on my iPad next to small child sitting next to me on the following six flights in silence with my headphones in, only to break the solitude with the occasional “They really say the ‘N-word’ A LOT” without taking my eyes off the screen followed by four second fits of hysterical laughter.
Predicament- Apple’s being a little baby back bitch right now.
And by that, I mean I purchased Django: Unchained, downloaded Django: Unchained, and failed to complete Django: Unchained despite it being linked via wifi for a straight and solid 30 hours. Afterward (as you can probably read from the email chain), I was refunded, attempted to purchase Django: Unchained, and was unsuccessful in doing so. Thus, frustration ensued, and I decided since I clearly wasn’t getting what I wanted, I would try a different route, instead.
And now, we wait….
*Disclaimer: I should also probably elaborate on the mention of my 4S “curiously acting up” as of late. While I cannot say definitively what happened, I can surmise the tricky menu button may have something to do with me having dropped it to the bottom of a swimming pool in Siesta Key, FL while trying to take a picture of myself earlier this month (I can’t recall specific details, but I’m pretty sure my face was doing something amazing that had to be documented, LIKE BEING ON MY FACE). Additionally, I don’t want to make any outlandish connections here, but my headphone jack’s sudden failure could or could not be attributed to me accidentally running full sprint into the Atlantic Ocean three days later with it on my person. I don’t know. I’m not a scientist.
Anyway, I’m shutting down for the night so I can get back to packing as this has been an extraordinary distraction for me as I attempt to continue packing up my entire apartment while simultaneously hiding incriminating items from my mother as she begins to uncover them, as she has decided to fly out to DC last minute to help me out IN THESE FUN, FUN TIMES…
